Career Day 2010...please support the arts!
(seen here with photographer, Archie Carpenter & stylist Suzanne Mauro at career day!)
Once again, it was quite an honor to be a part of South Fayette High School's, Arts, Humanities & Communications Career Fair on 3/25/2010.
I truly love sharing my knowledge of the makeup industry with so many aspiring teenagers.
My main piece of advice- get your beauty license while still in high school...the more you know, the more you're worth!
Five school districts participated in the event that included speakers such as:
Andrew Stockey, of WTAE TV,
dancer & actor, Billy Hartung,
fashion photographer, Archie Carpenter,
celebrity stylist, Suzanne Mauro
Kevin O'Leary of Warhola Productions
Ed Fraticelli of Production Masters, Inc.
Sam Sandora producer & creative director of Inventionland
PG columnist-Tony Norman
casting director- Terri Bercelli
myself, and many others...
Thank you again to Mary Quirk and Maureen Petzwater for putting such a wonderful, and artistic crew together!!
...And here's to hoping that my alma mater, Keystone Oaks, will jump on the bandwagon & see how beneficial this career fair is to the artistic students to interact with successful and established professionals already working in such unique, rewarding careers....there is more to life than sports!
Please support the arts!
